In many cases, customers with failing projects have already spent too much money, so you can rest assured that we won't show up with a "you need the whole thing re-written attitude" !

In our experience, the key tasks should be :
  • understand the business justification and aims of the original project
  • understand to what extent the project is falling short, and the implication this has for the business
  • honestly assess and diagnose the reasons for the failures
  • prioritise areas for remedial action
  • produce estimates for the work
  • if you're happy, proceed with the fixes
One final point of consolation if you are having problems with a system - with software it can often be the case that a failure of the whole system is being caused by a tiny problem. There can be a small amount of work between "nothing works at all" and "that's great, it could do with a few tweaks but it solves our basic business requirements". (NB. We can't guarantee that your problems will be easy to solve, but we start positively !)
